Please help me, my Minecraft launcher refuses to work.
So, a few days ago, I decided to play on 1.13.2 with my friends on their realm. I tried to download optifine 1.13.2 but afterwards it sent me a bunch of pop ups and this modded popup where I can install anything and any mods. I had no idea what it was. I usually play on 1.8 so when I download optifine, it just downloads it and I click a button and it installs. In this case, it gave me a bunch of pop ups, and afterwards, my anti viruses start going ham. This was on the official optifine website by the way. I ended up never using optifine because it never worked.
Later, when I tried to launch my game, the launcher wouldn't "respond". It was stuck on the white menu. When I try to exit, it gives a crash popup. I was sick and tired of this so I gave up. I came back yesterday and it worked, I got in and was able to play on the realm. However, later that evening it stopped working again. I let it be, and today once again, my launcher would not respond. Fed up, I decided to go into my %appdata% file and delete .Minecraft (excluding my mods and resourcepacks) and redownload it. My mods are not the source of the problem btw, they're 1.8.9 pvp mods found in Refraction's mod folders. Anyways, I try to delete it, and there are some optifine files I can't delete. My computer forced me to skip them. I'm pretty sure they're the root, but I can't find them. I checked downloads and everything. Anyways, after I redownloaded it, the file was Minecraft(1).exe, not sure if it's supposed to be (1) if I deleted the other ones. or at least I think I did. and it gave the error "unable to save download" before I even launch it. It won't let me play at all.

I tried to find that 5D file in objects and I removed it from the files but the game doesn't work. And I checked task manager and no java program is running. Each time I restart the launcher, it gives me a new file, not just 5D so that doesn't matter. Even while making this I'm trying to play the game, and my anti virus is saying "Brower Homepage Hijack, Brower search hijack" "Warning, IE search/homepage hijacked to a bing search advertisement"
I've done everything I've can. Tried to delete java from task manager I ran as administrator. etc.
Please, if you can help me do something, or delete all the files properly, thank you. I would prefer it if I could keep my resource packs and old 1.8.9 mods but if it has to be done, I'll delete them. Thank you!

I fixed the downloading issue, I deleted a ByteMalware program which was actually a virus. But the game itself still will not load. Perhaps there is another virus.

Time for a clean up!
Run a full virus scan.
Scan for malware with ADWCleaner, Download it here: https://toolslib.net/downloads/finish/1
Remove that infected OptiFine.
Remove ByteFence.
Reinstall Minecraft from scratch.
