I made this same post 10 days ago but no one has helped me and I reallllyyyy need it fixed because I can't play at all!
My game was running smoothly at about 60fps until I pressed F3 and then my game just got really laggy and froze. So I closed minecraft and reopened it and it kept freezing for a few seconds every 10 seconds, and it seems the longer I play the game the longer it freezes for (like a whole minute). I'm on 1.12.2 because of mods and stuff (I don't have very many). I thought it might be because I don't have enough space so I tried freeing up some room but that doesn't seem to be the case, besides I haven't changed/added anything and it was running perfectly until I pressed that one button. I tried changing some settings to make it lag less but that didn't help either. When I play online on 1.13, it's completely fine and runs perfectly. I really don't want to lose all my progress on my main world just because of some stupid freezing problems. Help would really be appreciated because I'm sick and tired of barely being able to move without it freezing

As it is there isn't enough information for anyone to help you. When you first start minecraft click on the Settings tab and enable "Open output log when the game starts" before you press start. This should enable a debug screen for you which will show every operation the game is making, as it makes it, complete with warning and error messages. I would try trouble-shooting the issue using that log to see what is going on when these freezes occur. If you can't figure out the issue on your own this screen should provided everything needed for a more experienced player to diagnose your issue.
I get that error when I try and use shaders. Do you have shaders enabled? This could also be a graphics card issue, Please make sure all your drivers are up to date.

That is definitely a graphics error. Most places online say that your graphics card/drivers are having issues and that the solution to the problem is updating your drivers and/or getting a better graphics card. While trying to see if anyone has gotten this resolved before without new hardware (since you said your drivers are up to date) I did come across some posts where forge users recommend others with you program try using -Dforge.forceNoStencil=true in their java arguments, this seems to be a hit or miss for fixing the issue but figured I'd put it out there as an option.
Note: If this computer used to play your modded 1.12.2 without issue, and this behavior started suddenly, backdating your graphics drivers to an older update (the newest update most likely caused the issue in such a case) may correct the problem. Nvidia graphics drivers had such a bug back in 1.11.2 so it isn't unheard of.

If you had a log for when the game froze we could help you by looking over that log.
This is what it showed when the game started up and started freezing n stuff

No, I don't have shaders enabled cause I don't use them and everything's up to date

Moderatorpost a dxdiag log, how are you checking if your drivers are updated or not?
