I seem to be having a recurring issue when it comes to connecting to my buddy's Sevtech server, the exact cause seems to have eluded me to this point but every 30 minutes or so (sometimes it's longer and sometimes shorter), my game will stop responding and I will disconnect from the server with one of three error messages:
1. Disconnected
2. java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
3. (most recent) An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine
All three of these seem to happen sporadically and almost random, but some I seem to be able to trigger freezes, lag, and sometimes full on crashes by either exploring the overworld or transitioning between realms (i.e. overworld -> betweenlands or vise-versa). It also only seems to be affecting me, the rest of the people on the server don't have any issues at all.
I have tried a number of steps already including:
1. Resetting minecraft
2. Updating Java
3. removing minecraft runtime
4. disabling NAT acceleration and/or port forwarding
5. Allowing minecraft as an exception to my firewall (not entirely sure if I did this step entirely correctly)
6. Changing available RAM (I am currently using ~6GB out of a possible ~7.3GB
7. Probable some others that I can't quite remember right now.
In any case, nothing really seems to resolve this issue and I feel a bit stuck with the entire thing. I'm at the end of my patience with the constant disconnects and would love some insight into what I can do to fix it. For a bit of technical information:
1. I am running the most current version of Java
2. I am launching everything from the Twitch app.
3. All of my video drivers are up to date
4. I am running a Windows 10 PC with a EVGA Geforce 1070 graphics card
5. I use Comcast with a >100Mbs download speed
6. I am running a Motorola MB7420 modem and a Linksys EA4500 Router
I would really appreciate some help here.
EDIT: I am including a link to the pastebin of my most recent disconnect error. It's quite lengthy but the error seems to mostly repeat: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/g57m9hX7j5/
I've had this happen in the past due to an unstable internet connection, both LTE uplinks and bad Wi-Fi were culprits for me.
Are you using ethernet or Wi-Fi? Is the server you're connecting to on the same continent? If you're connecting to the 5GHz band and there's any kind of obstruction/distance between you and the router, is it possible to switch to 2.4GHz (5GHz has better speeds, but impedes distance)?
N.B. posted this before your last update.
Edit: A couple of Google searches later leads me to believe that your mods might be out of date. Perhaps a mod is calling a function you don't have in your client under certain circumstances? It would make sense if the rest of the players are up-to-date, as well as it happening sporadically (anything another player does could trigger it)
I am connected with an Ethernet playing on my desktop.
Edit: The server I'm connected to is set up about 2 miles from where I currently live so it's a fairly close proximity server
As for mod updates, how will I know if they are out of data and which ones I should update? At the very least, how would I go about updating what I need to (is it something through the twitch launcher?)
Unless the server owner specifically has changed any mods themselves, you should just make sure that your version of the pack is the same as theirs.
Latest version on https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/sevtech-ages/files is 3.0.8 . Check in the Twitch app if you're running that, which is quite likely. If you're already on that version, perhaps they are using an outdated version themselves?
Well it turns out we are all on the same version, and the crash, as of recently, only seems to coincide with swapping realms and traveling far distances or server lag. I'm beginning to think it might be a RAM issue, but I'm not sure how to test it before I resort to just buying more RAM, which I don't really want to do unless I have to...
You could ask other players how much RAM they allocate, and allocate 5GB instead of 6. Also, try keeping an eye on your RAM usage while playing. Maybe it's a problem with swapping memory to your drive?
It could be? I'm going to try running at 5 today and see how that goes, I'll post back after I try that. If that doesn't work I'm sort of at a loss for what I should do.

If the game is crashing post the crash report. The fml log would help aswell.
The game doesn't really crash, it just freezes then forcefully disconnects me, but next time it happens I will be sure to post what information I can.
I will note that when this happens and my PC gets minecraft to respond again, it boots me back to the choose server menu.
Here is a pastebin file of the most recent logs that occured during a crash. https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/g57m9hX7j5/

You are not experiencing Out of memory errors, so I doubt it. Besides that, Sevtech actually recommends using 5 to 6GB allocation.
