so i use a mid/highish end gaming pc (gtx 1050ti, amd fx8350, 16 gb ram), and i get around 120 fps when playing. however, i got on and loaded the galacticraft modpack and went to play with my friends, and all of us are having the same issue. we get very high fps, then every few seconds it drops to 0, waits a bit (3 seconds) and resumes like normal, and it is making the game almost unplayable. are there any solutions for this issue?
things ive tried- optifine, lowest settings
regular hard drive defragments
uninstall and reinstall graphics drivers.
any help is greatly appreciated if anyone knows a way to fix this stuttering
also here is my f3 menu. i did notice it had a relatively small amount of ram allocated to the game (around 2 gigs), could this be the issue? and if so how would i go about allowing more ram? when im playing my total ram usage on my pc never goes above 45%, so i have a lot to spare

Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
i hadnt messed with the JVM arguments as i didnt know what affect they would have on the game, so here they are at their defaults-
-Xmx3072m -Xms256m -XX:PermSize=256m -Dminecraft.applet.TargetDirectory="D:\Game Stuff\Curse\Instances\Lapito's Galacticraft" -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Duser.language=en -Duser.country=US

Allocate more RAM. There are plenty of guides on the googles that explain how.
alright. thanks for the help!
