My friend bought minecraft recently off the microsoft store and she is unable to play with us on the java edition. Does this mean she will have to rebuy the game on java or is there a way to migrate to java edition? it is quite annoying if they advertise it on the microsoft store on pc and then make it unable to play with the java versions?
can she play with us on the java version using that account? or:
can she migrate her account?
can she refund the account to buy the java version?

Minecraft from the windows store is a completely different game than the java edition. For refunds see https://help.mojang.com/customer/en/portal/articles/359338-mojang-refunds-policy
