My friend had an internet upgrade, (I think he has spectrum), and now he can see but cannot join my server. Adjusting or turning off his firewall doesn't work. He also forwarded the recommended ports. He can see my mine craft server but is unable to ever join. so far he has:
1. Forwarded the ports
2. tried turning off his firewall
3. allowed minecraft to go through his firewall
4. uninstalling/re-installing
It used to work fine, this issue only happened after he said the internet company "updated/upgraded". Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!
Everyone can connect but him, I have also double checked my ports and firewall. We are running a realms server.
We just finished playing COD online together but most other games he can't see their servers either so maybe there some setting he is missing in his router control panel. The rest of us use Xfinity and connect fine to mine-craft and all other game servers.

All of those points above are pointless to him if YOU are the host. YOU have to worry about those if HE is unable to connect.
True but EVERYONE else can connect but him.
And my firewall isn't blocking him.
Can he connect to other servers fine?
