Hello. I have the problem that Minecraft: Java Edition is lagging on my new PC. I lowered by graphics settings but I want to play with high settings because it's a new PC and it's a pity that it is lagging on high settings. I also allocated RAM to Minecraft and updated Java. It cannot be my PC's fault because Fortnite and other games with higher requirements run pretty well. I already downloaded OptiFine. Thank you in advance.

GPU: AMD Radeon R5
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 10 Home 64 Bit
Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
And comparing minecraft to other games is like comparing apples to oranges.

Turn off mipmapping.
Thanks this helped a little bit. Can you give me some other tips to optimize the game?
Check for driver updates, other than that I'm out of ideas. Maybe someone else has better ideas.
