In the texture pack I got when I throw the hook/bobber I can not see it. I checked the particles.png and a it shows a hook/bobber. But I can't see it in game can someone help.
is the bobber there without the texture pack? if so its the pack that need fixing and you will need to contact the pack maker to fix it, or fix it yourself if out know how

But the bobber is in the particals.png in the files
