i wanted to try out a mod called the not enough items mod for the 1.12.2 version of minecraft but every time i install it the mod doesn't appear in minecraft
BTW i did install code chicken lib, as the mods creator said the mod didn't work without it.

I found the problem was me trying to organize my mod folder using folders inside of it to put my mods in
