I'm trying to buy Minecraft Java edition for my 8 year old son and I am having trouble. I am not sure if it related to his age or if there is some other glitch.
I just made an account for him with his email address. Once in there I click on Buy Minecraft. It loads the store and says he needs a parents permission. I put my email in there and hit Request Permission. This sends an email to me saying my child wants to create a Monjang account and there is a link to give him access and purchase Minecraft. I click that link and it asks me to verify that I am an adult and asks me to put my childs email as well as mine. Then it takes me to a page that has me enter credit card info and pick his profile name. I put in the credit card info and I "Error Placing Order" "An error occurred placing your order, please verify credit card info and try again" I've tried three different cards, the info is correct. Also tried a different browser.
So what could be the problem?

Call up your bank and ask them to allow international transactions to Sweden. If that won't help contact Mojang.
Thanks, that might have been the problem. I ended up buying a code on Amazon and then using that to buy Minecraft from under my sons account.
