For the past month or so, whenever I windows out of my game, after a second or two, it crashes. It brings up the launcher and a message from it saying that the game crashed, but no error log can be generated. This happens in all versions, both main ones and snapshots. So what could be causing this?

No way to tell without any kind of log.

And the crash doesn't generate any log, so is there just nothing I can do then?

So there's basically nothing that can be done about it then?

If we know what's broken we might be able to fix it.

And is there any way to find out?

Post the crash report and latest log. Crash reports are found in the crash-reports folder under the .minecraft folder.

"latest.log" is found in the logs folder under the .minecraft folder.

Like I said, it doesn't generate a crash log, but here's the latest log at least:
