We have been playing together fine for weeks. Today we made a nether portal and tried entering the nether. The game crashed and I deleted both our player files because he was stuck in the nether. The portal went missing and the server would crash before he could kill himself to respawn. I can get in game but he gets "timed out connection lost" each time he tries to join. I tried running the server as
But still does not work. No one is available in the minecraft help chat so after working all morning/afternoon I decided to turn here for some help.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
This is the crash report I got when we went to the nether:

Is there anything important you have in the Nether? If not, you can delete the dimension folder for it so it regenerates.
Edit: The folder is DIM-1
I have an i5-7400 with 8 GB of 2400MHz RAM.
I deleted the DIM-1 folder but I am getting the same thing when I rerun my server.
1. Install 64-bit Java.
2. Use a startup script that matches your servers hardware.
