I'm having a strange problem with graphics that I couln't find anywhere: When I start the game, everything's OK, but after a while all entities and some more complex blocks (as chests, signs, etc...) begin to change color. As I look directly into them, they seem to be OK, but as soon as I move the cursor away, they begin to kind of "fade", until they're completely white, or more like "sky colored" (i mean the "empty" sky as when you dig bellow the bedrock). After a few more minutes, it all just stays white (sometimes gray) like that.
Screenshots of the more "severe" stage of the problem:
Minecraft version: 1.12.2
Graphics card: Radeon R3 Graphics
OS: Linux (Ubuntu 18.10)
Drivers: No additional drivers installed after a fresh Ubuntu installation, using the default ones.
Anyone having similar issues? Any ideas what those problems might be caused by? If so, how to solve it? Thx.
Update:
Enabled Optifine. The problem disappeared for a few minutes (this happened before, it could come back any moment) and an OpenGL error appeared in the log: "OpenGL Error: 1282 (Invalid operation)". This error appears in the chat every few seconds randomly.
So It's been about a month since it disappeared for the last time and now it's back again. I had quite a few mods installed, so I tried to enable/disable some of them including Optifine and it seems that no mods have any effect on this, not even the Optifine.

Update your graphics driver. It seems that your graphic's card's driver is outdated. If that does not work post fml-client-latest.log from the logs folder in your Minecraft folder.
Do you have any experience with AMD on Ubuntu? I'm not sure which driver to use. There's an open source driver provided by Ubuntu by default and that's the one I'm using and it's up to date. There's also the proprietary driver by AMD. I read that it's not recommended besides some specific use cases, which don't include gaming.
Sry, forgot to post the log... But I can't find any fml-client-latest.log in .minecraft/logs. Only latest.log, is that it?
What AMD graphics card do you have? https://www.amd.com/en/support is where I get my Windows drivers, I don't know about Ubuntu. I forgot that you aren't using Forge, so yes post latest.log. If you are planning to install forge, run the game with forge and upload the fml-client-latest.log too.

Turn off mipmapping.
Thanks, will try that

Updated OpenGL (Mesa) - current version OpenGL 4.5 (Compatibility Profile) Mesa 19.1.0-devel. Still the same issue...
