Minecraft will show the Mojang screen and then crash after. It is just the vanilla version you can download from the launcher (1.3.2). I'm thinking it's jomething to do with JVM flags not being compatable even tough they are the default ones.

Funny thing, i deleted options.txt having suspicion of it being incompatible and it worked. For anyone with a similar problem i recommend trying that.

Use separate game directories for old versions.
