I usually play on 1.8.9, so I have a survival world on there that I like to play on. I wanted to see what would happen if I booted it up in 1.13.2, so I did. I chose "backup and load" when I loaded the world, and it told me it made a 40 mb backup of my world. Loaded into the world, and it worked just fine. However, the two potions in my inventory had turned into water bottles. I quit the world and boot up 1.8.9 (with optifine installed) and loaded the world. Every block I had placed had completely vanished, along with the mobs that were in my house. Now when I load the world in 1.8.9 none of my items are enchanted, but those items all have the appropriate enchantments when I load in 1.13.2. How can I access the backup that was made? Or, any other way to restore my world? I play on OSX. [EDIT: I'm dumb. Checked the Minecraft folder for backups before posting this but my eyes just skipped over the backup folder. So, if you ever back up a world, just unzip it from the backups folder and put it in the saves folder.]
