I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times, this same error keeps appearing in the launcher.

Do any of you have any idea how I might be able to resolve this?

When I looked, the only solution I saw listed was to uninstall Bytefence or a list of other incompatible software. But I checked, and I don't have Bytefence, or any other listed incompatible software.

Thanks! I thought I uninstalled it, but I'm new to Windows, so I probably missed something. I'll get it uninstalled (correctly) and hopefully that does the trick.

I removed it from within HijackThis, and reinstalled Minecraft. But I'm getting the same error as before. Do you have any idea why?
