Hello. My minecraft map started lagging. Just suddenly. Out of nowhere. I mean block breaking, nether entering, eating, mob killing etc lag. The game itself runs fine at 120 fps. I tried killing off some pigs and chicken in my farm but that didn't help. I'm running optifine 1.12.2

While f3 & JVM info will help with debugging.
Meanwhile, you might try shutting down and restarting the game (a complete shutdown, not just quit to title). [I've found that doing this from time to time (particularly if I've been switching between worlds a good bit) seems to improve matters. (This leads me to think that something along the lines of the garbage collection function is less than fully effective, with remnants building up over time.) The effect in my case isn't sudden, however, so this may be a different issue than you are experiencing.]
