when I open minecraft the game crashes me for little RAM memory, looking on the internet I found guides that said to go in the launch settings and in JVM arguments but when I change the code -XmX1G to -Xmx2G the game does not start saying this
"Error occurredduring initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for 2097152KB object heap";
this even if I put 3G gives me the same error but when I put 4G gives me the error of the virtual machine and I do not know what to do.
my computer has 8G of RAM I wanted minecraft to use 4G.
can someone help me?
Yeah, you will be able to allocate 1.5 gigs of RAM or more.

You cannot allocate more than about 1.5 gigs of RAM on 32-bit Java.
so if i install the 64-bit version of java i could put more ram?
Yeah, you will be able to allocate 1.5 gigs of RAM or more.
