I have a returning issue with my login, that the Minecraft launcher returning an error after clicking on Log In, that it "cannot connect to server". I have tried to login to Minecraft.net, too, but I am getting an error "An error prevented your request from being processed. Please try again." My firewall settings are correct, I do have a working internet connection, I have restarted my router and PC several times, also had reset and reinstall of the network adapter, aslo the launcher, but no solution yet. I can login on my cellphone to Minecraft.net, so there is something with the PC connection. I have no third party software like mcleaks or so. I had the same issue last week, after a couple of hours it was working, but still I have no idea how. Now it is happening again. Thanks for all the help in advance!

I Am using Kaspersky Total Security, I did not find the setting you have mentioned, even after several attempts, however I added the Minecraft launcher to exclusions in the antivirus software, but it didn't help, after that I have removed the whole Kaspersky Total Security from my PC, executed a restart, and I still couldn't log in with the same error in return.

ModeratorIf you are using Kaspersky Internet Security and cannot connect to Mojang’s servers, turn off Encrypted Connections Scan by following this guide.
If the above fix does not work, you will need to uninstall Kaspersky Internet Security.

Get rid of akamai.
Done, no effect after uninstall and restart.
