To note, ALL mods have the right version of forge.
I only have three specific mods which are; decocraft, bird's foods, and useful backpacks, none of which have problems being compatible with each other. If I'm not mistaken. as a long term minecraft user, I don't see why this would be a problem.Iit might be an internal error with the mods. maybe it's my PC, I'm not sure. Yesterday, as of 17 December 2018, I've tried basic troubleshooting with the game as well.
In summary: My mods are downloading and I'm positive they're all compatible with each other. When I launch minecraft none of the mods seem to load onto the platform.
By "downloading" the mods, what exactly do you mean? If you're not using a modpack launcher, and you are installing the mods manually, you first have to install Minecraft Forge (google it) and then place the .jar files that are the mods into the "Mods" folder in the ".minecraft" folder which you can find by searching for "%appdata%" in your file browser. If done correctly, everything should be working. I believe you also have to specifically select your modded Forge version of Minecraft in the new launcher, I haven't installed a mod manually in a long while.
I highly recommend using the twitch desktop app to install mods instead, it makes it quick and simple. You've gotta install the Twitch app, click "mods" at the top, select Minecraft, and then at the top click "create custom profile". This creates a fresh instance of Minecraft separate from your vanilla one where you can install mods simply by searching for them in the same Twitch app and then clicking install. Super easy.
If you need any more assistance, google either of these methods or just ask again I'd be happy to help (I don't know if I answered your question because I'm still not certain if your problem was with installing them correctly or they simply don't work right).
