I get solid framerates, generally between 65 and 90 fps, but water flows slowly, blocks sometimes get 'unplaced' or placed twice, it takes like 3 seconds to throw an item, same to pick them up, chunks often refuse to load and mobs move at around 1 frame per second. It also takes around a minute just to load the world once I've started up the game. I don't know exactly when this started happening, somewhere between yesterday and the day before that. It's the same in both the newest snapshot, an older snapshot, 18w47a, and 1.13.2. Minecraft is only taking about 25% of my ram usage, so I'm not sure what's wrong with it.
And before anyone asks, yes the game runs just as poorly with illustrator closed and open. I know it's a resource hog, but it doesn't seem to be the issue.
Only thing I've messed with is the ram allocation, from 2 to 3 to 4, but nothing seems to change it. I believe they removed the vbo option in the newest snapshots, also lul
Not seeing wrong that I can see, can you screenshot F3 menu alone.
Other then then try and update of your NVIDIA drivers if available through geforce experience. Problem continues contact me through discord.
Give support direct on here so everyone can see and chip in, no need to take it private, thats the point of a forum, please stop offering to take people to discord

Video Demonstration
I have a relatively good setup, an AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core processor with a GTX 1060.

It shouldn't require a download on the dropbox website, but here you go.

Curse PremiumPlease send a video with Alt+Shift+F3 debug screen enabled
hope this helps. Also included some task manager shots in there.

Curse PremiumThe problem is the tick rate which is too low. Java doesn't get enough CPU power
RAM doesn't seem to be the problem
Please post the JVM arguments.
You also can try enable/disable vsync, vbo and the fps limit
JVM arguments are: -Xmx2G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M

Also, the Vsync didn't do anything, nor did messing with the fps limit
Update: In the newest snapshot, 18w49a, worlds don't even load.
any new ideas?
