So, I have created a LAN survival server for my child.
The issue is, I cannot find any way (other than creative mode), to enable OP/God Mode, even with cheats on.
I made a sorry attempt at lightloader, and Forge (neither are up to date for 1.13 either (He loves the turtles). The client kept crashing with these mods, and eventually locked up the desktop.
Is there a way I can enable god mode, or at least make it so he cannot drown and burn to death lol. He keeps drowning when he plays. He's only 5, but loves building and is very creative. I want him to be able to attack mobs, build underwater etc.. Without dying every 5 seconds because I then have to run him all the way back, and attempt to find all of the items I made for him lol.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Currently he is running Vanilla Minecraft PC version, 1.13.

Moderatoras per discord chat....
no god mode per se but commands might work
/effect <player> water_breathing 1000000
/effect <player> fire_resistance 1000000
where <player> is the ingame name
along with
/gamerule keepinventory true
to save the inventory if death does happen
Thank you so very much!! I appreciate it. I am sure he will have a blast tomorrow when he's home from school.
