Delete the "options.txt" file in the .minecraft directory.
Use separate game directories for newer versions if you use newer version of Minecraft.

Thanks man, that totally did it. I knew it had to do with the fact that I had downloaded 1.13, but thought the problem was the Optifine that I installed with it. Keep it up!

The game keeps crashing on launch, right after the Mojang screen. No idea what happened, went to log on and it showed up:

It's saying that it is a "NullPointerException". Any ideas on how to get rid of this?
