Hello,

My LAN is not working. I am trying to play with my friend and I used to detect their LAN world and got the following error message whenever I tried to join:

io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information:

We also tried to make my friend join my world but that didn't work either. We both updated our Java and now we can't even detect each other's LAN. It does not show up in the servers. We also tried direct connect, which did not work and gave us the same error message. Both of our firewalls have allowed all the javas and minecraft. (In my firewall I can only see the minecraft launcher if that is any help). We are really close to each other when we try to connect.

Is there a way to fix it? Let me know if any more information is needed please.

The antivirus I have is Windows Defender.

And your friend is on the same version and also uses windows defender?
