Hi. My kid wants to play 1.8.9 cuz he likes the controls more than the latest release. 1.13.2 works fine. Both use the same startup settings in the launcher. The video card is a GT610 and is up to date. 1.8.9 gives an OpenGL error.
OpenGL: ~~ERROR~~ RuntimeException: No OpenGL context found in the current thread.
Full crash report below.
Is 1.8.9 even supported in the newest launcher? Is he out of luck for 1.8.9?

Delete options.txt from.minecraft folder.
Perfect. Thank you
Out of curiosity, how did that cause the problem?
Old versions are old for a reason, who knows which setting the current version has that the old one doesn't recognize and crashes.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
