So my minecraft crashes occasional, and it crashes bad. Everything freezes, the sound judders and the only thing I can do is hold the power button. This however only happens when I am both running a server and playing. I can run and not play, and play and not run (both single player or on other servers). I dont have to be on the server, it's just if the server is on, and I am playing minecraft at all. This also happens for LAN. I don't know if this is a RAM issue, or something, but the server has 1GB, and minecraft appears to have the default 2GB set. I have never had this issue on old computers but this one is new, and technically more up to date.
Can anyone think of anything that I might be able to try, or have any experience with something like this - it really sucks to reboot the computer from the power button each time, and I'm worried that I'll damage it if I keep doing this
