I have been playing Minecraft off and on for the last eight years or so. Not terribly long ago I was playing with some friends on a LAN server when the game crashed. I figured it was a typical crash that happened often and only took a relaunching of the game to fix. Upon loading into the world it would crash again. After some searching online for the solution, I have no idea what to do. Sometimes it crashes with an exit code of 255, other times its with 1 or 805306369.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, I have tried allocating my ram differently, I have tried reinstalling windows even. I can't seem to figure it out. The output log always contains a "Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded?" message, but the other errors and warnings differ wildly between each crash. Sometimes the game crashes upon loading into a world, sometimes it will go a solid 10 seconds after loading in before crashing, again with a different error message. I have tried running it with integrated and NVIDIA graphics, nothing seems to work.

16 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 820M

I have been playing Minecraft off and on for the last eight years or so. Not terribly long ago I was playing with some friends on a LAN server when the game crashed. I figured it was a typical crash that happened often and only took a relaunching of the game to fix. Upon loading into the world it would crash again. After some searching online for the solution, I have no idea what to do. Sometimes it crashes with an exit code of 255, other times its with 1 or 805306369.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, I have tried allocating my ram differently, I have tried reinstalling windows even. I can't seem to figure it out. The output log always contains a "Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded?" message, but the other errors and warnings differ wildly between each crash. Sometimes the game crashes upon loading into a world, sometimes it will go a solid 10 seconds after loading in before crashing, again with a different error message. I have tried running it with integrated and NVIDIA graphics, nothing seems to work.

16 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 820M

Tell nvidia to run java on the nvidia card, not the crappy intel card.
I've tried, this, same result.
Toggle VBOs in Minecraft options.
Then you did a bad job, cause if mc would run on the nvidia card it wouldn't crash due to a Intel driver issue...
It is set to run on nvidia graphics, I don't know what to tell you.
