Basically, I'm trying to run Forge again. I have about 48 mods installed, none of which conflict with each other (as far as I know). I've got a GTX 1050 Ti and 16GB of RAM, and I've tried allocating 4GB of RAM to my modded Forge file through editing the -Xmx1G section of the JVM Arguments.
However, every time I start it up, I get 3/7 of the way through loading, and it crashes on the Model Manager. I think this may be a memory issue, since the loading bar says that 512MB is the maximum amount of memory allocated, and with Task Manager open while it loads, my memory usage only increase by 1 GB at the most. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?
Looks like you have -Xmx512M in the _JAVA_OPTIONS variable in your environment settings, To remedy this,
Uninstall Razer Synapse / Cortex if you have it
Press the Windows key and the Pause/Break key simultaneously
A window should popup, click on "Advanced system settings"
Click on "Environment Variables"
Delete the _JAVA_OPTIONS entry.
