Earlier today I created an account on Minecraft's website and just stopped once I got to the point where you purchase the game. I left the website and carried on with my day until just now, when I attempted to buy the game. When I select the buy option it redirects me to the account creation page. I click on the option above that says to sign in to an existing account, which takes me to a page for about 2 seconds which only says "Use your Mojang account to login to minecraft.net". After this, it immediately takes me back to the home page of the website. The same thing happens when I try to click the log in button on the top right corner. Is there a fix for this or do I just need to make a new email for a new account?
There does seem to be a few issues on their website over the last few days, you'll just have to wait for Mojang to sort it as they are the only people who can work on issues on their website
