So recently I've started a minecraft survival island server and without knowing, it was created AGES ago (like 2011).
I've started building stuff with my friends but we've noticed that there's none of the new features loading (sea temples etc.) and from my understanding, only new chunks would load the new structures, biomes etc.
Is there a way to find these new features?
Currently the server I have is hosted externally and is pretty bad so it lags out whenever I load too many new chunks. So here comes the second question, if you have two copies of one map and load new chunks on both the maps will those resulting chunks be the same? I.e. if I explore a single player map and find a sea temple, note down the co-ordinates and teleport to those co-ordinates in my server, will I arrive at the sea temple in the server?
If any of you guys have any tips of how to most easily find a sea temple with an old map, please let me know thanks.
