1.12.2 (other versions not tested), I've noticed this long time ago. Here we see plain ol' resurrectus/undead or how ever it's in english, and he just cannot get to me. I'm looking at him from standardized imperial border wall passage. As you can see, there is nothing on the floor, so there is 2 m height, and as I use double doors, there is more than 1,5 m width. So…why doesn't he come to me?
I remember trying some things, like making the heght be 3 m, and I think they come through, but as far as I can remember, removing any ianua (either ferrea or wooden) did not change a thing.
For those asking why would I wanted resurrectus on imperial grounds, since I kill everything even near walls? Well, it's in „commercial district“. There is my artificial „village“, and about 5 automata ferrea, so…it would be fun to watch him get obliterated. :-D Maybe I just take automata outside. :-D
I would suggest that the pathfinding can't tell if a door is open or closed, that's why mob traps with open trapdoors over a drop work.
So trapdoors are seen as possible pathways and iron doors aren't even if they are open.
Wooden doors would probably be seen as possible pathways for zombies, whether open or closed, since at least some zombies can break wooden doors with some game settings.
I think it's in how the doors are placed, even though it looks to you that the doors are open, to the zombie, they are closed. Remove the doors and he will walk through, I bet.

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.
Hexalobular: Yeah, but…I saw mob (the same one, acutally) passing through open wooden doors. Trap doors, here I agree with you. I've uild dark rooms based on that fact.
Well, OK. Next time, when I'll need some new villager, I replace ferrum doors with wooden ones, build traps, let them come and heal them. Simple enough.

Did anyone encountered that behaviour?
It's due to how the game engine handles pathfinding, the pathfinding won't all the zombie to walk through a doorway.

And…no, not really.
Wooden doors? They pass. Ferrum ones (with pressure plates on opposite side of doors from where that resurrectus stands)? Nope.

Just testing.

Yeah, ferrum doors must behave differently.
Dweller_Benthos: Yeah, after removing, he did get through. After, I had another problem. Automata ferrea jsut ignored him. I've though they are supposed to protect villagers, kill hostiles etc. Nope. Just walking around…
Okay, zombies (and maybe other mobs) will try to pass through wooden doors because of the 'break down wooden doors' AI module.

Heh. I still think it's odd behaviour.
