I have a simple enough problem with no solution to be found due to everything being apparently outdated as...
Basically my server host computer ran out of hard drive space which resulted in a large amount of corrupt chunks in a specific large area of our beloved world (we've been working on since 2015). I resolved the HDD space issue however the corrupt chunks are causing the server to shut itself down. I figure I need to remove and reset the chunks.
I have tried MCedit however it is too unstable to properly load a 1.13.1 world without throwing heaps of errors.
I then tried WorldEdit and gave a few of the chunks a //set 0 followed by a //regen. This did nothing. It regenerated the same corrupt chunks, as the server console kept warning me of corrupt chunks!
I then learned of a program called Region-Fixer, decided to give that a go however, as I expected, it is massively out of date (last file update was 2015!) and therefor useless to me at this point.
I have drawn to the last resort of asking for some help via the trusty Minecraft forums! We'd really hate to have to dump this awesome world we've been working on for years! Waiting for who knows how long for developers to hurry along with updates that are insanely overdue is getting very frustrating. Is there anything else that can be done? Any help is much appreciated!

Make regular backups is the lesson here, I'm afraid there is not much else that can be done here until the usual 3rd party tools get updated.
