I'm attempting to create a mod pack, and the two mods in the title, Thaumcraft and Immersive engineering have been giving me difficulties. At first i assumed they were simply conflicting with other mods in the pack and after removing them the pack worked perfectly. the issue is that to test it, i attempted to launch each of them only with JEI, in thaumcraft's case with Baubles (as its a required mod), and nothing else. For Immersive Engineering i attempted to run it with only JEI and immersive alone, and in both cases received the corresponding launch errors:

In all cases, the mods seem to crash on "initializing mods phase 3" on their respective mod files.
I dont know much about modding, and this is the first time im making a mod pack, or have encountered these issues. i couldnt find anything online when i tried searching for similar cases, so if anyone has any ideas or solutions i would be extremely happy to try them.
Edit: everything is running (or in thaumcraft and immersive engineering's cases, crashing) on Forge Version 14.23.5.2768
I discovered the issue and that the current builds of thaumcraft and immersive engineering are not compatible with the current build of forge. by reverting to an older build of forge i was able to get all mods working.

I'm attempting to create a mod pack, and the two mods in the title, Thaumcraft and Immersive engineering have been giving me difficulties. At first i assumed they were simply conflicting with other mods in the pack and after removing them the pack worked perfectly. the issue is that to test it, i attempted to launch each of them only with JEI, in thaumcraft's case with Baubles (as its a required mod), and nothing else. For Immersive Engineering i attempted to run it with only JEI and immersive alone, and in both cases received the corresponding launch errors:

In all cases, the mods seem to crash on "initializing mods phase 3" on their respective mod files.
I dont know much about modding, and this is the first time im making a mod pack, or have encountered these issues. i couldnt find anything online when i tried searching for similar cases, so if anyone has any ideas or solutions i would be extremely happy to try them.
Edit: everything is running (or in thaumcraft and immersive engineering's cases, crashing) on Forge Version 14.23.5.2768
I discovered the issue and that the current builds of thaumcraft and immersive engineering are not compatible with the current build of forge. by reverting to an older build of forge i was able to get all mods working.
ill recommend a mod called vanillaFix. shows wot mod is misbehaving.
