So I've been having this problem for about a couple weeks now. Every time I try to log into my minecraft account(s) in the launcher AND mojang/minecraft.net website, it just gives me the "login failed. invalid username/password" error. I know for a fact I'm not using the wrong password. I've tried to log into about 3 different accounts where I have the passwords written down and never changed, and then on my main, I've changed the password easily over 5 times now over the past couple of weeks. I looked this issue up and can't find an answer. Anything will help.
A few things I've already tried:
- changing password several times
- waiting (this was suggested on the official minecraft FAQ)
- clearing logs
- deleting all files (including texture packs, screenshots, everything)

Thanks for looking into it a bit. The thing about it is though is that I saw that same thing a couple days ago saying it's responding to september 22nd support emails. I dunno if they're just getting a lot of emails or what but it hasn't changed in a while.

Maybe the support team had the MInecon days off (like when the rest of the team had off too)? Not sure how long it normally takes since I have never had this problem.
So, I just went on my dads PC (which is using the same wifi), and I'm able to log into minecraft.net on his computer just fine. So that narrows it down to a couple things, it's a problem with my PC specifically or the router I have in my room with my modem is hooked up to through ethernet. I'm about to try to hook my computer up directly to my modem through ethernet and see if that changes anything.
So, I just went on my dads PC (which is using the same wifi), and I'm able to log into minecraft.net on his computer just fine. So that narrows it down to a couple things, it's a problem with my PC specifically or the router I have in my room with my modem is hooked up to through ethernet. I'm about to try to hook my computer up directly to my modem through ethernet and see if that changes anything.
Good idea! It may just be your firewall(s). This information is important.
So I restarted my internet, directly plugged my pc into my modem, then restarted my PC, and now its working :)). The only problem is that if I want wifi for my xbox I have to have the ethernet plugged into my router, so idk. I guess i'll just switch between the two. Thanks for your help by the way!
