Hullo! I recently updated my PC to Windows 10 and am unable to play Minecraft. I can open it in either launcher, and the window has a weird "static" effect I guess for a second, like an old TV. In the "old" launcher, I can reliably get to the title screen. In the "new" launcher, it gets there maybe half the time. Upon clicking Singleplayer if I can get to the title screen, it sometimes goes to the world direct screen after that "static" effect returns, and sometimes just crashes. It always crashes when I click multiplayer. I have tried: Updating Minecraft, trying Optifine, uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing Minecraft, and updating my graphics drivers. I was able to play 1.13.1 when I used Windows 7. This was only an issue after updating to Windows 10.

It was below the requirements the whole time, you were just lucky it was working at all. That hardware is closing in to being a decade old, that's ancient in computer terms.

Okay, so how do I get "lucky" again? My PC's hardware was provably able to run it fine. So what can I do software wise?
Unfortunately, your graphics hardware is not supported on Windows 10, you will need to downgrade back to Windows 7, upgrade your graphics hardware (Not possible on a laptop), or use a newer computer to play Minecraft.

Unfortunately, your graphics hardware is not supported on Windows 10, you will need to downgrade back to Windows 7, upgrade your graphics hardware (Not possible on a laptop), or use a newer computer to play Minecraft.
Even with going back to windows 7 there is no guarantee it will them run minecraft, unless an older version, say 1.7 is used, or with blind luck like previously stated

No, that's just false; I played 1.13.1 before and quite well actually, always above 60fps.
How would that happen just from updating to win10? It was working before.

It was below the requirements the whole time, you were just lucky it was working at all. That hardware is closing in to being a decade old, that's ancient in computer terms.

Software wise by installing up to date drivers, but guess what? Your system is so old, the manufacturer stopped providing updated drivers for it.

Unfortunately, your graphics hardware is not supported on Windows 10, you will need to downgrade back to Windows 7, upgrade your graphics hardware (Not possible on a laptop), or use a newer computer to play Minecraft.

that shows the drivers were updated to the last ones made, in 2015, AMD do not support that GPU anymore because it is so old
Even with going back to windows 7 there is no guarantee it will them run minecraft, unless an older version, say 1.7 is used, or with blind luck like previously stated
