"Doesn't work" doesn't tell us anything. Tell us exactly what happens and which error message you get.

Are you by chance using MoreCommands? There is an incompatibility between later versions of Forge and MoreCommands. It works for me with Forge 2705. There is some chatter on the MoreCommands thread that may be helpful.

Download: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/files/2.0.5 beta/HijackThis.exe/download
Run HijackThis as Administrator, choose "I accept", then "Do a system scan and save a log file". After a while a text file will open. Copy everything, put the log on https://paste.ubuntu.com and give us the link.

And why not? Are you not the administrator?
