Hi, I haven't used these forums in over 4 years (old account got deleted because of the Twitch thing) so I have no idea if this is the right section, but I'm having troubles with Optifine on 1.8.9.
Whenever I use a shader pack (ANY shader, including the internal one) I can see some textures through blocks, namely coloured glass and the top of the water texture. Here's an example:
I've tried every possible setting remotely related to glass in the Quality, Details, Performance, Animations and Other options. A common setting I've seen is to change "connected textures" to off, however, that among others didn't work and was off by default anyway. My PC is more than enough for Optifine (Ryzen 1600, GTX 1070) so it shouldn't be that. I got this screenshot in Optifine version I3 however it also happens in the latest (afaik) version, I7.
Hopefully a solution is out there, as it's quite annoying particularly in multiplayer but also when I'm trying to build things in singleplayer.
Gave you tried getting another version of optifine?
I have, the versions I tried were I3 and I7. However I found out that the issue was an incompatibility with another mod I was using. Hopefully a staff member can lock this thread as my concern has been addressed for now.
