I'm running Minecraft 1.13.1 and also use OptiFine (the beta7 to be exact). I use OptiFine since quite a while now and today is the day where I can't stand one little problem: The night is too bright.
I encountered this sort of problem in 1.11 already and even reset all settings but the night is still bright like the day.
Here are some screenshots:
I have no other mods installed (since Forge isn't even out for 1.13/.1 yet anyways). Also, this problem occurs without any resource pack set (to answer this question right away).
Does anyone know what to do to stop OptiFine from making the night to the day in terms of lighting?
Problem found. When I tested this without any resource pack I kept a certain resource pack set which was under the Default resources. I forgot about it and today I found out it was this certain resource pack.
It was a beta textures pack for Minecraft which must have contained a file to keep the game bright.

Report bugs with Optifine to its developer.
I'm pretty sure that this isn't a bug, rather a setting I just can't seem to find.
I saw quite some people which don't have this problem but never said how to set that up when asked.
