Using the new Minecraft launcher which increases performance, not the old ugly one.
Title clearly explains it all, Java is not stopping after closing Minecraft. It uses a lot of memory, causing my computer to freeze while watching youtube or browsing. It's really annoying
When I run 'killall java' in a terminal emulator, Minecraft launcher pops up with an error message, but the memory usage drops immediately. It shouldn't do that since I closed Minecraft, should it? I'm confused about this behavior. I'd appreciate any help, thanks in advance!
