I'm using laptop. Computer have 2 different graphic cards. One is Intel HD4000 other one is AMD Readon 8500M/8700M. My minecraft run itself with intel which is so laggy. How can i change to AMD?
Note: I dont wanna close my intel graphic card.
Note2: This problem is only for minecraft and terraria. My all other games using correct graphic card.
The Intel HD4000 is an integrated graphics processing unit (iGPU). Your system should automatically use your dedicated graphics card (your AMD Radeon). Intel itself does not have any official publicly released graphics cards.
Why do you think that Minecraft is using your iGPU?
its a laptop and laptops don't see minecraft as a game due to its java based, thus doesn't power up the AMD gpu, power saving features etc.
And we know its using the intel onboard as the ingame screen says its using intel hd
Missed that. In that case, you need to change your power efficiency settings in your AMD Control Panel. For AMD graphics cards the process can vary from card to card, but in general this should work. Open the AMD control panel by right clicking on your desktop. You need to open the graphics tab, then PowerPlay and set the plugged in and battery settings to maximize performance. You can also try going to graphics, then 3D, and move the slider shown all the way to the performance side.
still probably wouldnt work as expected becasue windows doesn't classify java as a 'game' and most laptop AMD cards ignore it by default when an intel GPU is available. he would have to add the spesific java version to the list of programs the driver picks up

Can you help me with what are you saying? How can i add spesific java version and which version should i add?
Open the AMD Catalyst Control Center and go to Power → Switchable Graphics Application Settings section
of the Catalyst Control Center. Under the "All Applications" list,
look for the application you would like to use your AMD Graphics Card
for. Select the drop down menu next to that application and choose the High Performance option. Select Apply, and you're done!

That's a setting in AMD drivers. If you can't find it, use Google for a guide.
I dont think there is any problem with my settings. Also i checked a lot of guide but no help. They are outdated or not working.
Sorry, I don't have AMD and don't speak that language, but you also need to add the Java version Mc is running on to that list.
