I still use WIndows XP, cause i can't afford a new PC.
Specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo T2300 1.66 Ghz
1.59 GB RAM, wanting to bump that up
Windows XP Home Edition SP3
Java 7 Update 25
I think an older Intel GMA series card, im not sure
ANyways, despite it being underspecced, it runs fine and not low FPS, around 30. No OptiFine, settings tweaks, except some of the controls. The OS dosent interfere despite it being so old, either.
The problem isnt with my computer, or the specs. It is with Java. After 5 mins of happily playing, Java crashes, something to do with an SE Runtime error. Can anyone help me with this Java issue? Its the only thing stopping me from playing.

the problem with Java is your specs, i don't know if java 8 will run on windows xp but that is your best bet. i don't know what country you live in but you can often pick up ok PCs from the recycling depot super cheap or even free. have a look on google, there are places that will give you something better for $50-150 or so
