I have trouble with the update of 1.13.1. The performance drastically decreases. I encounter the following issues:
- A smooth gameplay was able before.But now when I move the who screen freezes for a fraction of a second every second. A smooth gameplay is not possible
- The opening of chests sometimes takes a very long time (many seconds)
- The change to the Netherworld became REALLY long. I thought Minecraft has stopped working alltogether...
- When digging a block (like stone with a pick axe), the block breaks, but just to reappear again. I have to break the block again.
It is almost not playable anymore. But it could be a MAC issue (as MACs alwas have issues and problems). I even rebooted the mac to stop unused processes ...

Is there anything I can do to increase the performance to the level of 1.13?
1.13 itself has many errors and is just a compiled mess. They should really just clean up alot of the code and actually make the game perform better because I'm having performance issues also
JVM arguments are not irrelevant as you have changed the ram allocation to minecraft and may've changed a setting that you shouldn't have, they do not care if you play single player or multiplayer

Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
Screenshot is attached. JVM arguments are irrelevant, as I start the game in single player.
Or is there a way to figure out those arguments? I am using a crap mac, I just 'click' on Minecraft...
