I've encountered an issue with a new world on 1.13.1. Whenever I attempt to chop down a tree, the block doesn't appear for a couple seconds. It finally does fall off and I can pick it up, but during those seconds while the wood is still on the tree I'm still able to continue chopping it. Anyone encountered this yet?
Not chopping wood but I've had blocks briefly reappearing after being mined and disappearing/missing/invisible water source blocks in 1.13 I'm not sure if it's still happening in 1.13.1 yet.
I have not encountered this problem, but this may be happening because you have a slow computer or poor internet, as this has happened to my friend with a terrible computer so yeah.
chances are your just having low tps(ticks per second) your supposed to have 20 tps but if your on a server it can drop to around 9. Tho tps doesn't usually drop in singleplayer.

Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
