My minecraft launcher is glitching as in when I hit play it crashes and says minecraft launcher has stopped working. I’ve already checked task manager and the like but I can’t figure it out what do I do? Btw im on windows 8

Reinstall Minecraft.

If this doesn't work, then see if any mods that you are using are outdated. Remove them and it should work.
