When I try to leave The End, whether it's via the portal or dying, my client renders the overworld but it is non-interactive. Apparently my server isn't linking up with it. I can't access chests, sleep in a bed, or anything like that, and all of the NPCs just stand in place.
It's been working fine for a long time, but just suddenly decided to give me trouble. The only things I could think of that I did differently this time than other times was:
* I had elytra in my inventory
* I used an ender pearl to go into the portal instead of jumping in
But I tried avoiding both of those things and it didn't help. I've re-tried this several times, I've fully exited Minecraft and re-loaded it, and nothing works. It just won't let me get into the Overworld. What should I do?

I want ocean content(thanks Möjang!), nether biomes, and savanna passive mobs.
I found out how to fix it: play in 1.13.1 pre-1. The problem is fixed when I load the game in that version, and returns immediately as soon as I update to 1.13.1.
