Okay so i have played with mods before just only on mac and now im playing on a windows. But its not much different, but my problem is that forge wont even register that i have mods in the folder and, the mods or ment for the forge i got, and usally when i have mods that dont go together it tells me, but it loads up like there are no mods in the folder and its making me mad, can someone help me, please and thank you
make sure the mods are in the mods folder of the game directory. putting them in the mods folder of "C:/users/[username]/.minecraft" does no good if the game directory is set to somewhere else.

By default, Forge is installed in the same directory as vanilla Minecraft.
Enable hidden files in File Explorer, go to your account folder (it's outside of Desktop, you may have to dig into C: and open \users\), open AppData, Roaming and .minecraft
Put your mods in "\mods", but make sure that the mod is supported by your specific version for Minecraft.

yeah i did that already, but like it wont register it is loading up minecraft as if the mods are not in the folder
Please take several screenshots showing us your .minecraft folder, your mods folder and then Minecraft when it's started.
Feel free to blur out anything you think is personal.
