Hi, so i recently purchased a new pc with a 1050 GTX and a 2.5 gHz processor. i dont think the other specs really matter. The main problem is that while playing minecraft on some multiplayer servers, i can never get above 50 fps. I am using my graphics card for my game (which i configured in the nvidia control panel), and I have optifine. I dont think its a vsync issue either as i disabled it both in the nvidia control panel and in game. The fps also sometimes fluctuates above and below 50. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? I feel like my gpu should be able to give me more than just 50 fps. Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you for your time

Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
Here they are. Thank you for your response!
Disable GeForce experience overlay or other overlays for that matter.
How would I go about doing that? Sorry, im not very familiar with the Nvidia interface as this is my first PC with a Nvidia graphics card. Thank you!
Pretty sure there are guides on the googles available.
Disabled all overlays and I'm still getting the same fps. Any other suggestions?
