My minecraft launches fine, but it sits on the main title screen and will not respond, I have let it sit for upwards of 30 minutes hoping it will respond again.

I have followed everything on that list of why it wouldn't be working to no avail

I ran it as an administrator and it worked perfectly fine. I'm not sure why.
