So this has never happened before and it just started about a week ago. Pretty much it just started off by randomly kicking me off of the server I was on and says "Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by remote host". Although the other people on the server said I was still connected for a while even after disconnecting. Then it started when I was kicked and would try to rejoin it would say "Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by remote host" I have no idea what that could mean but I know that no one is touching or making any commands with the server. One person said it could be a problem with my internet connection but I had been using the internet perfectly fine before this started. I haven't been able to find this problem anywhere else, I don't know how to fix it, and it's intruding on my work because I spend 1/3 of the time just trying to connect to the servers I use.
It is most likely your internet. Try resetting your router or if you get a bit desperate you can contact your isp. Otherwise theres no real fix besides maybe re-installing minecraft.
(unless someone smarter than me responds in which case there ya go)
I do work on a modded server. It's just confusing because I never had a problem before. It just randomly started and I already have a lot of ram put towards my minecraft. Could it be that I have to much maybe?
That's what I thought but nothing had changed with my internet when it starts. I tried resetting it and then I switched over to the other internet we have set up in the house. That fixed all the other connection issues on my computer but I still get kicked off of servers randomly and then refusal to join them.
We have also had this issue if the server doesn't have enough ram to keep the things you have built loaded. The server will prevent you from rejoining if you are still 'logged in' you might also just have to increase the amount of time your client waits for the server to respond

Boyo
We experienced this issue on our modded server, there the solution was to allocate more ram, your server may not be modded but it's worth a shot
