So I just got a new Windows laptop, the 2018 Dell G7. I downloaded Minecraft on it, but when I tried to play it it would usually just freeze at the menu screen. I have tried re-installing Minecraft and Java, restarting my computer, and researching this topic with no luck. I know this laptop is more than capable of running Minecraft, given that it has a GTX 1060, 16GB of ram, and an i7 8750H. So if anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me!
